I’m Andrew Hurst 26 years of age living here in Scarborough with my partner Nikki and little girl Lexy. After several years in the armed forces documenting the wars being fought around the globe armed with both rifle and camera I chose several career paths ranging from retail, emergency planning, finance to finally settle running a successful photographic studio in York doing something I touched on and enjoyed doing whilst serving. I found myself able to capture the endless emotions emitted by a person and this shows in my work, from nervousness, apprehension, relief, happiness, joy, love to when nothing else matters, the face portrays a feast of emotion to be captured. Many people comment after looking at my images how they correctly portray how the person was feeling at that particular moment. The bride when she first enters to the groom in waiting for the bride are just some of the key moments that offer a whole host of unforgettable images that bring back ‘those’ memories.

I don’t look for a particular style, I take what will be remembered by you not staged but natural. Call me modern or call me journalistic I capture what is presented to me on the day. You, the people around you, the venue and the drama will make my images as unforgettable as the day itself. Be as creative as you like I am very open minded to your suggestions, lets be as fun as we can. Challenge me.

With offering all these I believe I offer the best value for money out there, how much is hair and makeup? How much is a separate videographer? How much is a makeup artist? It’s your day, I understand this and will endeavor to make it as easy flowing and as enjoyable as possible.
